Honoring the Life and Legacy of

Glenn Garrison

With heavy hearts, we remember and honor our dear colleague and friend, Glenn Garrison, who made an immeasurable impact at Act! and in the lives of those who had the privilege of working with him. As our Senior Program Manager, Glenn brought unparalleled expertise, an unwavering commitment to success, and a self-starting spirit that helped bring Act!’s products to the small and medium-sized businesses that needed them most. More than that, he was a mentor, a leader, and an inspiration to all who knew him.

Glenn’s career was a testament to his passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning. His journey took him through the Marines and the U.S. Army, where he first worked with technology, before earning a degree in software engineering and teaching at a university. His professional path eventually led him to Act!, where he became an invaluable member of our team, driving software releases, ensuring smooth deployments, and embracing every challenge with determination and precision.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Glenn’s integrity, wisdom, and kindness defined him. He was known for his ability to bring structure to complex projects, his deep appreciation for teamwork, and his belief in empowering others. He thrived in an environment where initiative and independence were valued—qualities that aligned seamlessly with both his work ethic and his off-the-grid lifestyle, which he shared with his wife on their 40-acre self-sustaining homestead.

Glenn’s dedication and impact were recognized when he was honored as Employee of the Year, a testament to his contributions in leading successful global software updates, new feature launches, and executive-level initiatives. But beyond awards and achievements, Glenn will be remembered for his wisdom, his generosity, and his passion for learning and growth. His advice—to be open-minded, seek responsibility, and never stop learning—will continue to guide us all.

Though he is no longer with us, Glenn’s legacy will live on in the work he helped shape, the people he inspired, and the countless moments of camaraderie he shared with us. We are forever grateful for the time we had with him and the lasting impact he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Glenn. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
